Link Hat

My Link hat was a hit and many people keep asking for the pattern.  Unfortunately I cannot give it out BUT I can tell you where I purchased it and let you know the adaptions I made.  This fabulousness is called Elf with Braid and can be purchased through Ravelry here or Etsy here.  Salena Baca is one of my all time favorite pattern writers and if I get a chance I'll adapt the patterns I purchase from her.  The sizing are extremely awesome and offer similar sizing for the majority of my hats that I sell.  The pattern is below.  If you do not want to make this pattern you can contact me on Facebook here to purchase one.

Before you read the pattern please note that although I am not new to crocheting I am absolutely new to pattern writing.  If you have any questions please let me know and I'll do the best I can to help out!

Adaptions (Size shown is 3-6 months)
I used an I hook
At the beginning of the pattern I wanted a pointier tip.
Magic Ring
-3 hdc, sl st
-Ch1, 2 hdc in each st, sl st
-Ch 1, 2 hdc, hdc, 2 hdc, 1 hdc, 2 hdc, 2 hdc (Yes you read that right, you need your total to be 10)
From here you pick up where the pattern starts for round 1 and work until the last row of hdc.
I skip the sc rows and instead add two rows of fphdc and bphdc and alternate around.

Add two Xs to each side and viola!  Link Hat!  If you want the ears that pattern is free...I wrote it ;)  It can be found here.
